Reduction of Turbulence or Material Entrapment KYT concentric reducing expansion bellows are manufactured with an integral rubber flange connected to the body at a 90° angle. This ensures the product installs snugly against the mating pipe flange without voids, reducing turbulence in the piping system. For applications containing 20% or more solids, use KYT concentric reducing expansion joints to achieve a smooth bore transition and avoid material entrapment.
