State Grid Shanghai Electric Power Company (referred to as “the Company” hereafter) is one of the oldest power enterprises in China, affiliated with State Grid Corporation of China. It is responsible for power transmission, distribution, sales, and services in Shanghai, as well as unified dispatching of the Shanghai power grid. The company participates in the formulation and implementation of Shanghai’s power and grid development plans, rural electrification, and supervises and guides the safe and efficient use of electricity across the city.
