The Macau Ji’ao Reservoir expansion project is located on the Coloane Island in Macau. The reservoir is designated as a backup water source to enhance the freshwater reserve of Macau and strengthen the city’s water supply security. After the expansion and reconstruction, the normal water storage level during the flood season will be at 44.0 meters, and during high tide periods, it will reach up to 50.5 meters, with a total capacity of 813,700 cubic meters. The contract value of the project is 104 million Macau Patacas, with a construction period of 643 working days.
