Introduction of Shell Zhuhai Lubricant Co., Ltd.:
Shell Zhuhai Lubricant Co., Ltd. was established in June 2007 in the Gaolan Port Economic Zone of Zhuhai, with a total investment of 83 million US dollars.
The project is designed with an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons, making it the largest scale and most comprehensive lubricant and grease production plant in China, mainly producing lubricants for automotive, marine, and industrial use.
The company produces “Shell” and “Unified” brand lubricants, with each accounting for 46% of the production, mainly supplying the southern market. In March 2009, the project was supplemented with an additional investment of 11.5 million US dollars, including an additional foreign investment of 4.6 million US dollars, aimed at expanding the distribution business of chemical products. The project was officially put into operation in November 2009.
