Self-Sealing Air Spring

The self-sealing air spring gets its name because it seals itself without external force. As shown in the diagram, the rubber bellows ①, reinforced with a fiber layer, has a steel (zinc-coated) waist ring ② embedded to prevent expansion during use. The steel wire ring at the end of the cover plate ③ deforms the rubber opening under the pressure of the air, ensuring close contact with the upper and lower cover plates (zinc-coated) ④ to prevent air leakage. The upper and lower cover plates ④ are formed through mechanical processing. ⑤ is the threaded air inlet for installing the air intake pipe, and ⑥ is the standard threaded hole for installation.

They are extensively employed in various manufacturing industries, including precision machinery, instruments, computers, cameras, equipment, and household appliances.

2. For example, ZF-300-4: ZF indicates it is self-sealing. 300 indicates an effective diameter of 300 mm. 4 indicates the number of bellows is 4.
