Shanghai Songjiang Vibration Absorber Group Co., Ltd. provided DN600 metal expansion bellows products for the Shanghai Minhang Power Plant, to be used in the plant’s internal steam pipeline system. The metal expansion bellows supplied to the Minhang Power Plant are constructed primarily from 316L stainless steel, with the internal corrugated portion made of nickel-based alloy, ensuring enhanced temperature resistance and superior corrosion resistance. They effectively withstand corrosion from high-temperature steam as well as acidic or alkaline vapors. Additionally, they maintain sufficient strength and toughness under high temperatures and mechanical stress.

These products not only boast excellent sealing properties but also possess superior axial, lateral, and angular compensation capabilities, accommodating displacements and deformations caused by thermal expansion and contraction in the pipeline system.
The Shanghai Minhang Power Plant, established in July 1958, had a total installed capacity of 815,000 kilowatts as of December 31, 2004. In October 2004, it was honored with the title of “Advanced Unit in the Open Management of Power Generation Company Systems” by the Energy Chemistry Union. The plant is affiliated with China Power Investment Corporation.
Situated upstream of the Huangpu River in the southwest suburbs of Shanghai, the Minhang Power Plant was constructed to meet the needs of the burgeoning Minhang electromechanical industrial area. The Shanghai Municipal People’s Committee decided to build the new power plant on June 23, 1958. Subsequently, the Shanghai Electric Bureau identified 2 Lijiang Road by the Huangpu River in Minhang as the site for the plant, and construction commenced on July 24. Through continuous expansion, the plant now occupies an area of 320,900 square meters.
